Special Ops is bloody awesome shitz, especially when you play it with a friend. Never thought that I could complete a mission on 'Veteran' difficulty, until now. Frickin' awesome! Sneaking past guards and dogs, repelling shitass Russians on a bridge, providing covering fire from a Black Hawk's minigun and from an AC-130, just fuckin' awesome!
Oh yeah, Sergeant First Class! :o)
ERIN IS FRICKIN' CUTE!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the shitz. Friggin' good plot, from the snowmobiles to the chase in the Zodiacs. The plot twists like a twistie, and continuing the brilliant work of the first installment, the dramatic cut scenes as well as cliffhangers (hahaha, pun intended).
Shall garner some friends for Spec Ops missions, because it's only fun if you're killing people with a buddy. Started on the Multiplayer, and it's just as awesome as the previous installments. Predator missiles, supply drops, UAV jamming, just to name a few of the new killstreak bonuses. There's even deathstreak bonus, which is aweesomeee. Damn, I need this on LAN, because it would be epic.

AC and Juve eye up Nani
JUVENTUS and AC Milan are set to battle it out for unhappy Manchester United ace Nani.
Both Italian giants are keeping tabs on the Portugal winger's situation after he launched a scathing attack on manager Alex Ferguson.
Nani, 22, claimed Fergie has mis-managed him.
Juve are keen on a January swoop and could even attempt a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season for around £15million.
Boss Ciro Ferrara wants a winger who is versatile and can play on either flank.
Milan are looking at an end-of- season deal for Nani for around the same fee to replace England star David Beckham once his six-month loan from LA Galaxy expires.
Nani has so far failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford since moving from Sporting Lisbon in June 2007.

After praying zohor just now, i thought about all the bloopers i ever had while praying. I realised half the time it's during subuh! hahaa. I guess we are still in the morning daze, hahaa! I dont know if shikin remembers this but there was once, when i was so much younger, i was praying and i fell after stepping on my own kain and it was damn hilarious! i had to hold my laughter until the end. The moment i end tahiyat akhir, i swear i was laughing like a mad woman! Shikin saw me tripping actually. hahaha!
Then there was the other time someone farted during our mass subuh prayers and i couldnt hold my laughter! After a few shaking to hold it in, i gave up and laugh! Mommy and Shikin stop praying and laughed along with me and we had to start all over again! haha :D
But the best part was, once i prayed asar with mommy. Shikin was watching tv outside, and a pepsi commercial went on. Pepsi commercial last time had this nice musical rhythm. So while i was praying, instead of saying my prayers, i was actually singing to the song (yes i forgot that i was actually praying!) and when i ended prayers, i went to tell shikin PROUDLY, "kakak, i sang in my prayers. That pepsi song!" and mommy went, "I HEARD YOU!", hahahahaha! you dont wanna the end to that!
I just realised how lightly i used to take prayers, how mommy always have to remind us, how mommy nags if i never pray earlier when i know i'm gonna meet Herry and ive to make herry wait a little longer because of it, then i realised how stupid am i? Prayers is one way to communicate with Allah and the one way you will feel at peace with yourself. I realise the only way to make me appreciate life is this small act that will go a long way! Now ive learnt my mistake, and shall make a change! :D

| how do we feel about this |

Youngster impresses United 14-year-old impresses Red Devils coaches during trial Manchester United have asked Norwegian youngster Sondre Tronstad back for a second trial after he impressed recently.
The 14-year-old is thought to have performed well in front of Red Devils coaches and was asked back in February or March.
Tronstad admitted he was delighted to be spotted by United scouts despite the fact that he supports bitter rivals Liverpool.
Two other Norwegian youngsters Mads Daehli and Herman Stengel also went down for trials.
"They have said that it went well and that I should come back in February or March," Tronstad told fvn.no.
"It's a bit special to visit Manchester United since I am a Liverpool supporter. But I felt it was a good chance."

| About housing in Singapore |
[Saturday, November 14th, 2009] |
I just read this contribution by Chua Yeow Chong off the Forum page on ST:
Three ways to discourage property speculation
The following are my suggestions to discourage residential property speculation:
- Impose a high stamp duty on property flipping: for example, 20 per cent within a year and 15 per cent within two years.
- Remove property tax exemption for unoccupied properties. Land banking and property squatting are economic waste.
- Impose capital gains tax on profit realised from investment property.
Demand for return and demand for dwelling are very different objectives. Hot money will find a better place to go in a jiffy when the situation changes, and Singaporeans will bear the burden of hugely inflated home prices. Singapore needs to fix this vulnerability.
Suppose these take immediate effect on future transactions, that would make implementation tricky and time-consuming. Lots of existing Singaporean investors would also be caught by the second point.
I don't know, but they sound like bloody damned good ideas, albeit radical. Or am I missing something here?

| Seeking Stories of the British Bases and Military Withdrawal |
[Saturday, November 14th, 2009] |
Dear fellow Singaporeans
I am a Singaporean historian looking to speak to people who remember the British bases and their withdrawal in the early 1970s. The withdrawal was the first major crisis independent Singapore faced. The 56 bases, contributing a fifth of the country’s GDP, were its largest industry, and the pullout threatened the livelihood of one-sixth of the labour force, including an estimated 8,000 amahs.
The pullout also transformed the economy, society and landscape of Singapore in the 1970s. Most of the bases were converted to commercial use, while many base workers underwent a 3-month retraining crash course. Technical and vocational education also expanded, as new laws sought to increase labour productivity and attract foreign capital investment.
These developments resonate with us today: the retraining programmes, the mobilisation of the young, the philosophy that ‘no one owes Singapore a living’. There is also a forgotten social history to unearth: how retrenched base employees coped with the crisis and how workers adjusted to new work routines.
If you remember the British bases and rundown, or have a family member, relative or friend who does, kindly contact me to lend your voice to an important episode of our national story.
Please pass this message along to those who might be interested.
Thank you.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY! was nauseating/creepy/hell yeah it can happen real life.
The constant movement of the camera made me feel so nauseated, i felt shitty and didnt enjoy much of the show. It was definitely believable and without a doubt, it does happen real life. The scenes were so real, it was hard not to believe. Afterall, it was film at the director's home where he himself made recordings before and found such paranormal activities. (yeah, i had to really find out for myself!) Ive always been a sucker for ghost story, such a thrill-seeker to find out all about it since young! Love has the eye for this things and from the way he talks about it, I should be grateful i dont get to see such things :). Half of the things Katie experienced, love had a previous encounter too. Scarybompeepee!
Anyways, after years of curiousity killed the cat, i officially admit that i do believe that there is a being out there that is nothing like us and i do believe that they will haunt or scare you if you cross into their territories. Ghost Hunters on cable once showed one of their crew being pulled back, and i saw with my own eyes that no one was near him, his shirt was being pulled, not once but twice! special effects? hell no! So i do believe. Maybe Jin/Syaitan? I dont know and i dont intend to find out, not now at least. :D
Oh well, my rating for PARANORMAL ACTIVITY would be 6shouts out of 10 :)

I cant decide whether it is: a) the fact that love is bringing and joining me watch paranormal activity tmr (to think he hates movies about ghosts!) b) meeting lovelovelove♥ c) getting the decor for little rabiatul adawiyah's birthday! d)the impending monthly friend! e) from all the laughter, kak a'in anak ozzie osman and i shared earlier tonight. d) settling the case after postponing for so long.

| Nani vs Gaffer: Why it is all CRAP and Media Rubbish! |
[Thursday, November 12th, 2009] |
from 11reds.com
Almost every newspaper has run a story today carrying the so called inflammatory remarks of Nani, who went on to talk about his life at United and how he feels that he has not been given enough chances. The funny part was how newspapers were ready to jump the gun and talk of a fallout in dormant stage at the OT. Well turns out newspapers have never really understood OT that well. Read on to know what Nani meant and why it hardly means a fallout with the man we know as Sir Alex Ferguson.
Let me quote all that Nani has said before putting forth my case and reasons: ( Read more... )

[Thursday, November 12th, 2009] |
no matter how hard i try to forget no matter how many new people i meet why do i keep thinking of only you when i turn around i don’t want to do this anymore. i want to stop. no matter how many times i try and try to stop myself it’s no use. my heart is broken. why
why do i keep doing such foolish things i know in my head, but why is my heart rebelling i’m holding on to you and can’t let go. it still feels like you’re next to me. i can’t believe in farewell
no matter who i meet, i can’t open up one part of my heart and i keep your place empty there’s no reason for you come back, but why do i keep thinking that you might come back why isn’t my heart listening
listen to my heartbeat. it’s beating for you listen to my heartbeat. it’s waiting for you don’t i know that it’s over. i don’t understand why i’m like this
listen to my heartbeat. it’s beating for you listen to my heartbeat. it’s waiting for you it still hurts thinking of you. i think of you every time my heart beats. |

| Nani lifts the lid on Sir Alex Ferguson: Portuguese admits he is struggling at Manchester United |
[Wednesday, November 11th, 2009] |
Manchester United winger Nani has given an insight to life under Sir Alex Ferguson and admitted he is finding it hard to make progress at Old Trafford.
Nani, 22, currently on international duty with Portugal, has seen his first-team opportunities limited this season, despite the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, and says his confidence has suffered as a result.
Speaking to a Portuguese newspaper, Nani said: "People expect more from me and it is not easy. I could be doing better, scoring more. But just think, I had a huge game today, but the next one, I’m not even sure that I will play. Such a situation breaks the confidence."
Nani also revealed that he had been on the end of Ferguson’s infamous ‘hairdryer treatment’ on several occasions and admitted the manager’s aggressive approach on the training field still shocked him.
"He is a very complicated guy," said Nani. "If things are OK, he will be OK, but if there is anything he believes to be wrong, you are screwed. He can go from complimenting you to just plain trashing in a couple of minutes.
"And it is always with **** this and **** that. No one is safe on the pitch. Even Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville get it, but it takes longer with them because they are more experienced."

| Manchester United continue keeper hunt by handing Michael Langer a trial |
[Wednesday, November 11th, 2009] |
source: dailymail.co.uk 11 november 2009
Manchester United are giving a trial to Austrian goalkeeper Michael Langer.
The 24-year-old is currently second-choice at German club Freiburg behind France goalkeeper Simon Pouplin but is still highly regarded. He is 6ft 5in and was formerly at Stuttgart.
United are weighing up their options because Tomasz Kuszczak is keen to move on and there are concerns over Ben Foster’s form.
United have scouted several keepers but anticipate Edwin van der Sar may yet sign another one year deal.

Scouted: Bordeaux frontman Marouane Chamakh Over the course of the summer, Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh was one of the most sought-after players in world football, with a host of Premier League clubs - including Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham - all said to be keen on brining him to England. However it now seems that Manchester United are leading the way to seal a deal for the Moroccan, who will be a free agent at the end of the current season. Here, brought to you with the help of our friends at Championship Manager, is our scouting report into the Ligue 1 net-botherer...
( If he's that good in the air we might actually have a threat from set pieces? )
